Dr. Junping Wang is a Lecturer and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Physics, Liaoning University, where he has been contributing to academic and research advancement since 2018. He earned his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, developing a strong foundation in computational atomic and molecular physics and the theoretical study of advanced two-dimensional materials—areas that define his current research focus. Dr. Wang has produced impactful scholarly work, with more than 20 publications in reputable international journals such as New Journal of Physics, Optics Express, Physical Review A, and Symmetry. His research influence is further demonstrated by 199 citations across 170 documents, 16 indexed papers, and an h-index of 7. He has also played an active role in competitive scientific funding, serving as principal investigator for the NSFC Young Scientist Fund and leading two additional provincial-level research projects. Dr. Wang’s work contributes to the fundamental understanding of atomic-scale interactions and the emergent properties of innovative two-dimensional materials, supporting progress in theoretical physics and next-generation material technologies.
