Prof. Ragab Abd Allah Abd El-Mohsen Mahmoud is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering. He earned his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering from Cairo University in 2001, his M.Sc. degree from Helwan University in 2007 with a thesis on digital busbar protection schemes to avoid current transformer saturation effects, and his Ph.D. degree from Helwan University with research focused on multifunction digital relays for the protection of large synchronous generators. His scholarly contributions are centered on electrical power system protection, relay technologies, and machine engineering, where he has demonstrated both theoretical depth and practical application.
